Hidden Beauty, is a design range founded in the concept of personal connection to place. Focusing on the contradictory nature of both knowing a place so intimately, while also seemingly knowing nothing.

The range is an exploration into hidden elements of the natural environment, and of our memories of them.
Seeking inspiration from the coast line of the mid-north coast, specifically One Mile Beach in Forster/Tuncurry on Worimi Country, where I spent many long summer days during my childhood. This very small stretch of coast was absolutely packed with varied landscapes, from the SLSC and beach to the cliffs and crashing waves, from rolling sand dunes to critically endangered rainforests.
The process in designing this range moved from initial location research to physical mark making and then onto digital manipulations.
